RBW just put the final touches on this Black Mountain Cycles MonsterCross by installing a new wheelset - Campagnolo Srl Zonda C17 clinchers with Panaracer Gravel King 32s. Fast, comfy, and ready for the world famous Paris-Brest-Paris Randonneur ride, taking place in France in August 2019.

It was a great day yesterday for the Spring Populaire in Seattle, put on by Seattle International Randonneurs. 100K is a warm up for this year's series of brevets, all in anticipation of Paris-Brest-Paris in August 2019. See you on the road!
Here's Lance of Wheellab at the Seattle Bike Show this past weekend. WheelLab is making the world a better place by using their mobile bike shop to teach kids to fix/build/create/ride bikes and in the process, they're teaching creativity, teamwork, and important life skills. Chapeau, Wheellab!
Check 'em out at www.wheellab.org. And in the process, you can help them make the world a better place with a sponsorship. RBW worked on this beautiful Tommasini this weekend. It now has a nicely rebuilt freehub and a very functional and hip brass ping bell, located at the base of the stem.
Important note on ping bells: the ones with the striker arm are better than those with the striker spring. The striker spring will bounce around on rough surfaces and ring all by itself. The striker arm style can be easily controlled for volume. |
